Chalet... With Namji People...

From 1st to 3rd of August, I went for a 3 days 2 nights chalet at Costa Sands with my namji people...
Well, it was supposed to be orientation week, but all of us skipped the first few days...

I meet up with AM and JiH in the morning to buy food for our bbq...
The others came late...
We went searching for food...
But we could not decide on what to buy and whether it is enough or not...
End up buying very little food...

Then we headed for Downtown East...
And hang out at Burger King waiting for the rest before we book into our chalet...
(People currently present: me, ZW, AM, YT, Jul, XJ, JiH, JuH, WY, YB...)
Since we are all feeling so bored...
We decided to play Lame Games!!!

Definition of Lame Games:
The playing of ultra-stupid, super-lame, no-brainer game which usually requires players to spot out sequence/pattern in the games and guess the answer according to that sequence/pattern...

Lame Game #1: Milk Honey Game
JiH showed us this game...
He pointed to his palm and said "See ar... This is Milk."
He then pointed at the back of his hand and said again "And this is Honey."
Then he rotates his hand while saying "Milk Honey M H H M (just any combination of milk and honeys)."
Finally he stopped and showed either his palm or the back of his hand and asked us "So is this milk or honey?"
Now it is the players' turn to guess the answer by spotting the pattern of this game...
I guessed it in a few minutes time, muhahahaha...
For this game, WY and JuH already played before, but YT and ZW dunno took how long to solved it...

Lame Game #2: How Many Meh-Mehs jumped over the fence??
Now this is tough, I didn't managed to guess it...
JiH showed us the game again...
He said" Now look here, look here hor..."
"How Many Meh-Mehs jumped over the fence??"
While holding one hand horizontal as the fence, and the other hand as the sheep which keep rotating and reverse rotate around the fence...
Wah... He talked and moved so fast... I couldn't catch the pattern at all... Neither could ZW...
Yet for this round, amazingly, YT got it right on the 2nd try!!!

Lame Game #3: Apple And Orange Juice
Now it is me and ZW's turn...
I held up one hand and said "On the first day, I drink Apple juice."
I held up the other hand and said again " Then on the second day, I drink Orange juice."
I randomly held up either one of the hands "Ok then what do I drink on the 3rd day??"
JiH is quite fast in catching the pattern for this game...
But it took YT, AM and dunno how long to guess the answer, with our help as well...

Lame Game #4: Black Magic
This is quite easy...
Cos even YT got it haha...
I would randomly called out several things and they will have to stopped me if I have said the correct object...
"The wall, the table, your shirt, that garbarge bag, the chair..."
The correct answer will be the Chair...
Figure it out...

Lame Game #5: Chop Chilli Chop
This is a really dumb game...
I just yelled "Chop chilli choppy chilli chop (just anyhow shout out chilli and chops)."
"Now tell me is the gate opened or not??"
No linked right?!
Haha... YT couldn't guessed it... Poor thing...

Lame Game #6: Telephone Game
I started by saying "I call ZW, Zw call JiH, JiH call YT, YT call who??"
Then the players will have to guess the answer by searching for the pattern...
Very Fun... YT couldn't catch it...
Hahahahahahaha...

After the Lame games, we went to booked into our chalet...
In the meantime, we also have a fun time looking at the guys' I.C photos...
Cos they were from the 84 year, two years older then the girls, so which means that they have their I.C made when they were 12 years old!!!
For us in the 86 year, we got our I.C when we became 15...
Wah, we couldn't really tell that it was YB in his I.C...
The same goes for JiH, even though his photo was of him when he is 14 (he lost his I.C before)...
Then at the chalet...
We have a small birthday celebration for AM, with a cake...
But the problem is, AM don't eat cakes...

Then we slacked, played some card games, slacked some more, before we decided to get our lazy butts off the bed and started the fire going for BBQ...
At this time, AM and Jul had to go home... So sad...
For the first night, me and ZW and YB slaved over the grill...
I'm in charged of 'painting' the food... E.g: I slather butter and honey over the food...
I can hear them groaning "Noooo... No more honey!!! Too much honey!!!"

Then at night, the seniors finally came...
Joe, LH, F-na, Lao Da(Big Boss, dunno how he got this nickname)...
All of us then go play Bowling!!!
Well they played anyway, I didn't, I'm far too broke...
Their bowling skills were good!!!
Lao Da even once hit 160+!!!
Most of the guys hit over 100...
F-na and ZW also hit over 100 too!!!
Wow...

Then we ate some supper before we played a card game...
The Indian Poker...
Each players have to take a card out of the deck...
And then we have to choose how to single out one card...
E.g: "The smallest card loses", or "The largest red colour card loses"
Then at the count of three, everyone raised up their cards to show others but they themselves cannot see their own card...
Some did it by holding the card, with the card facing the rest, near their foreheads...
Others plastered it onto the foreheads or just stick the card into their spectacles and hold it in place...
Ok now comes the fun part, everyone can see what's on others but not theirs so they can gauge their risk of hitting the jackpot...
So let's say, we want to saboh one guy, all of us will trick him into changing his card, hoping that his next card will hit the nail, or we will persuade the guy not to change his card etc...
Very fun... And the loser will have to drink alcohol mixed with coke...
Hahahaha, LH, YT, JiH and YB all kena many times...
It's a wonder they did not get drunk...
I only drank once (the last person that didn't got hit), during the time where we decided to increase the number of loser e.g: "All red cards are losers!" or "The people on both sides of the person who got the smallest card will have to drink."
Taste bitter, and very very hot...
Felt like I'm burning...

After many rounds of Indian poker, we went to take a stroll, while hoping to find the beach...
Tough, we ended up walking quite a distance and landed at the playground...
There we tried playing a few weird stuff...
Whatever happened to normal swings and see-saws??
There is this circular disc whereby many people sit around on its circumference and lie down, and one person will turned the disc...
So it is almost like a merry-go-round except that the disc is tilted...
Which means some of us at one point will be hanging nearly upside down on the disc, supported only by our knees hooking onto the disc...
I loved it cos it is so fun!!! Except a little dizzy...

When we decided to go back and reached our chalet, it was almost 7+am...
We slept till 9+am...
By that time, Joe, LH and Lao Da have already left without telling us as we were sleeping like a baby...
When I woke up, I crept towards the toilet in the guys' room as ZW was bathing in th girls' toilet...
There I heard one of the guys snoring... Very loudly...
One of us girls snore too, heehee... Will not say who was it...

AM also joined us on the second day, halfway through the Flag Day...
Then we played a board game made by her!!!
Wow AM!!! So good of you!!!
It was called "The Bored Game"
Kinda like the monopoly...
Except that the questions were mostly forfeits and many Lame questions thrown in as well...

E.g1: "Guess AM's 3 wishes."
Ans1: 1st wish, to wish for 3 more wishes... 2nd wish, to wish that all her wishes will come true... 3rd wish, to wish that her second wish will come true...
I guess the 3rd wish correctly while JiH got the second...
Super Lame right?!?!

E.g2: You are locked up in a room... So how do you get food, water and get out of the room with just a calender, a bed and a piano??
Ans2: A calender has Dates (food), a bed has Springs (water), while a piano has got Keys!!!
Am told us the 1st answer while I got the rest correct...
That is how I earned my new nickname: Lamer Queen...

After the Bored Game (JiH won), we went to play arcade!!!
I played one of the machines where we have to operate the mechanical hand to grab a doll in a pile of dolls and drop it through a hole before we can claim it...
I tried 2 times and fail... I forced YB to try and he succeed in 1 try...
So nowy I got a cut blue doggy doll!!! Yeah!!!

Then later the guys and girls spilt up...
Guys go play pool, girls go and cycle...
When we were cycling halfway, we saw something that excites us...
A troop of army guys marching!!!
Wow!!! We wanted to see guys in uniform, so we cycle after them...
There's two army guy marching at the tail of the troops...
Heard from AM that one of them says "Hi" to her... Heehee AM wor...
A few of the army guys at the back of the troops also saw us, and they even smile at us too...
Hahaha...
We actually even wanted to tease them by cycling past them and yelling "Hello Shuai Ge (handsome guys)!!!"
But we didn't managed it as 1)We are not so thick-skinned, 2)AM has to go home liao...
So we cycle back, but since our 1 hour rental time has not been used up, we cycle again but without AM as she had to go home...
This time with JiH in the tow...
It was a funny sight as AM was small sized and thus her bike will be small as well...
And yet JiH is the biggest and tallest gu in out group...
So try putting him in a tiny bike...
Behold, what a sight...
Heeheehee...

Then at night, it was BBQ time again...
This time JiH attempt to cook...
We also played the Lame games #3, 4, 5, 6 as either YB haven't played it yet or YT hasn't solved it...
Let's just say, I'm truely entertained...
Especially for the Black Magic game, cos YB not only couldn't solved it, he even create a whole new pattern for it himself!!!
He keeps choosing the objects starting with the letter 'B'...
E.g: The red Brush, the Bottle, the Bloody prawns...
Hahahaa... Nice one...

Then YB and JiH introduced a new Lame game to us girls...
(At that time, only me, Zw, YT, JiH and YB were left...)
It's the No-Name Game...
Becos it really doesn't have a name...
First JiH will take out 5 objects to represent each of us...
Then from it, he will create a structure/picture/anyhow arrange the objects to form something...
And he will asked "Now who does this picture looks like?? Does it looked like YT, ZW, me, WS or YB??"
Then we will have to guess whose picture he was trying to create from just these few objects alone!!!
Oh man...
This is one hell of a Lame game...
The Ultimate, the Toughest, the Number One Lame game...
Cos we played for nearly two and a half hour before I can finally solved it!!!
With YB's hints some more...
Tough!!!
But hah!!! I solved it!!! Yesh!!!

When everyone finally know the answer to the Lame game, we hit the beds...
Cannot tahan anymore...
This time, the girls slept on the top bed while the guys slept on the bottom bed...
YB literally became a Mummy...
He covered himself completely with the blanket that I wondered how he breathe through it...
Then I discover that being a Mummy was a great idea becos the aircon was freaking cold...
Nearly froze...

The next morning, JiH also left us without a word...
What's wrong with him?? We were awake!!! Well... some of us anyway...
Then we just ate instant cup noodles as breakfast and watched some cartoons on kids central...
Finally, we went home... Just like that...
No hanging out together (although I went to ZW's house after that to read her comics)...
What a low key ending to a great chalet...

Sigh...
Through this chalet, I understand their characters a bit more...
YT can be very determined if she wants to, cos for the no-name lame game, me and ZW wanted to quit already but she still keep on going and keep forcing the guys to redo and redo the game for her...
JiH and XJ are really funny guys, they are the 'Funny Crapping' or 'listen liao immediately laugh' type of joker...
WY and JuH are more of 'Sarcastic Crapping' or 'Must think for some time before realising the joke' kind of joker...
YB finally showed his true colours...
Don't see him everytime quiet quiet like good to bully, he can come up with pretty good lines too...
He is 'Serious Crapping' or 'face so serious looking but what comes out from the mouth is not' type of joker...
Some more finally see him wear spectacles liao...

I had a great time at this chalet...
Let's just hoped that if there ever was another chalet, the ending will be just as good as the beginning at the very least...
