MuggerHood Chalet!!! 3/01/06 - 5/01/06

Sorry, over-dued post...
(But there are more even over-dued ones... Opps...)
Hahahahaa...


Day 1

It started off bright and early...
For me that is... Cos I woke up at 9am (!!!) just so I can log into CORS to bid for my modules...
And I end up sweating buckets over it becos the module which I initially wanted to bid for (Understanding the Universe) was super populer...

Me and YL were supposed to meet each other first at Bukit Batok Mrt...
Then meet TL and WeeH at Jurong East Mrt...
Before going to Pasir Ris Mrt together to meet Kang at 2pm...
But YL was late, which cause us both to be late for WeeH and TL, which in turn cause the four of us to be late in meeting Kang...
Hahahahaa!!! In all, the Westies (people who lives in the West) were late for almost 45 minutes!!!

We saw Gonghwee!!!

Joined by the rest of the MuggerHood in the mid-afternoon, all of us proceed to Downtown East!!!

And the first thing we did after settling down in our chalet??

CORS!!!

Yesh!!! Bidding in CORS!!!
And that is how we spent the whole afternoon (and evening) on...
Wow, we really did live up to our reputation as MuggerHooders...
Go to chalet and do school-related stuff...

Can't helped it lar, who ask us to go booked chalet during this period of time...
So basically, we just rot in the room, using and cursing CORS, playing some poker cards and uno stacko and majong, and pigging out like pigs...

But then, even if we didn't have CORS to get stressed over, there's the Rain...
It Blurdy Rain for two days straight!!!
TWO DAYS!!!
Two fine days of the three day two night chalet, it rained!!!

And rained it did all the way through the night...
So after dinner, it was a repeat of events of what we did in the afternoon: eat and play!!!

It was quite fun early into the night...
We were pigging out, crapping, watching TV, playing PS2 etc etc etc and...

So Fun!!!
Wrestling and Poking and Snatching Pillows...

But as the night progress, our muggerhood was spilt into three groups:

The Bridgers
A bunch of Super Siao On people who keep playing game after game of Bridge!!!
They played for FIVE Whole Solid Hours!!!

The Laptop Users
Either desperately trying to find modules to bid, or busy playing *cough* Warcraft *cough*...



The Stoners
They well... Stoned for most of the night...
Stoned until they sleep liao...


Scene at 4am...

Basically, I belonged to the Stoners catergory for most part of the night...
Nothing to do mah, with about half of the group engaged in the stupid Bridge game, and the remaining half using laptops (there were two)...

In fact, me and YL stoned too much until we fell asleep...
With YT 130 dB laughter ringing in my head...
No wonder I had nightmares...


Day 2
We woke up quite late, and some of us continue on our CORS action... (While Kang pang seh us to go for his dunno-what class outing...)
It was only until wayyyy past lunch time before we drag ourselves to the food court in downtown east to have our lunch...

CAution!!! CAution!!!

Please do not have consumed any food at the Food Court there!!!
Because some of the MuggerHooders have went to another chalet earlier last month, and they have tried eating the stuff they call food in there...
And what Feedbacks we have from them...
("Nooooooo noooooo!!! Don't go there and eat!!!")
("It suxxx arh!!!")
("Yucks!!!")

But we still went there to eat anyway...

Test subject #1: JL the MuggerHead
He the brave went for the Ramen Noodle from Stall no. XX...

He tastes it... No Comment...
YT tastes it... Looks at me and make a face...
I tasted it... Oh man~ No wonder they warned us about eating in there...

The Ramen soup tastes so weird, almost like they only put salt in it...

Test Subject #2: YL
She blur blur went to buy her food without knowing what dangers lies ahead...
She bought the Char Siew Meat Noodles from stall no. XXX...

YL first tastes the Soup... Hmmm... Ok, the soup passed...
She then tastes the Char Siew... Hey, it's not bad...
She finally eats the Noodle... And a look of spasm crossed her face...

"Eeeeeee... This noodle got the Century Egg taste one..."

Test Subject #3: Me
Finally, my hunger pangs could not wait any more...
I went for the stall that looked most promising...
The Duck Rice Stall...

I bought the food and went back to the table...
BUT...
Just before my butt even touch the freaking chair, YL's well-trained eyes immediately spotted my duck rice and said "Eh WS!!! This looks delicious!!! Let me Try!!!" and ate before I could even react...

Okie, so maybe I wasn't the rightful Test Subject after all...

Thankfully the duck rice was normal!!!
It was edible!!!


After too much indoor activity on the first day, we really wanted to do something which people usually do during chalets...
The usual Roller-bladings, cyclings, playing at the beach and stuff...
In fact, some of us had already bought socks to be worn during roller-blading...

But, as I have mentioned before...
Heavens has not been kind to us...
It blurdy rained just as we reached the rental shop!!!
WTF!!!

At first it was a light drizzle...
So we decided to head for the beach, hoping that there would be some chance of the rain easing off...
No such thing, we haven't even set a foot on the sand when the skies opened up and literally poured water onto us...

But thankfully, there is something to look forward to on the second night...


YL and Seb Birthday Celebration
There was so many factors that we have to take into consideration for this...
So much that me and TL keep on changing our plans at the very last minute...
(especially due to the stupid rain)
But in the end, we managed to work it out... Somehow...

Since YB was not with us for a few hours in the evening (he had to went back to school), he volunteered to buy the cake on the way back to the chalet...
When he arrived, I was given the task of keeping YL and Seb distracted so that TL and YB can quickly transfer the cake to the fridge...
Since Seb was back-facing the door at that time, all I have do is to handle is YL...

Me: Eh, what do I do??? Blocked her view??

TL: Aiyahh... You errr... You just go and body-slammed her lar!!!

Me: Orh... Okie...

Me: Hey YL!!!

*SLAMS*

The most O_o!!! thing of the whole day was that Seb found out about the surprise just minutes before we unleashed it on him...
He was opening the fridge probably to get a drink when he found himself staring at the cake... And closed the fridge door again...
.....

We got the cake, we got the present, we got the MuggerHooders...
But we forgot one thing...
The Matches!!!
Haha, in the end me and TL have to go outside and look around for people who were having their BBQs to borrow their lighters or matches so that we can light the candles...

The first group we saw, was the people in the chalet besides us...
But they are all guys, so we very shy (hahaha don't laugh) and decided to look elsewhere...
We were looking for a more family kind of BBQ group, and found one not too far away...

TL: Hey, that looks like a family leh...

Me: Yah... Let's go...

Me Thinking: That sure looks like a Dad and his Kids...

Or so we thought... But it turns out to be a bunch of 16 year olds...


Okie, back to the celebration...

Me and TL quickly took the cake into the Toilet so that we can light up the candles and switch off the lights when it is time...
So exciting!!! TL keeps on giggling...
Finally... It Begans!!!



As I was carrying the cake and walking towards the rest...

The candles suddenly goes off!!!
ARG!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea why it does that, but here are a few possibilities...
1) YL suay aura so powerful it put the fire out
2) the humidity ratio in the air was too high
3) the air coming out from my nose was forceful enough to put out the fire
4) the fan is blowing it lar

Birthday boy and girl...


Looks like a nice couple... Heeheehee...

Forcing them to remove the candles from the cake with their mouths...


We then saboh-ed the Birthday people by switching their presents!!!
And just look at Seb's face when he received his "present"---a black skirt!!!

Seb: !!!

Seb: ...

Seb: -___-;

Seb: Uuurrggghhh... I cannot fit into this!!!

Errm... I think we forgot to ripe off the price tag... And have to snatch their presents back...
Hahahahahahaa!!!

Seb: Hey, that purple shirt was mine lar... Gimme!!!
YL: Hehe, I like both leh...

Seb: It's mine!!! I shall mark it with my scent!!! Muwhahahahahaa...

Seb: See?! Suits me so well...

Acting shuai...

After the birthday celebration, I'm sad to say things are back to the way they were yesterday...
Which is to mean I'm stoning all over again... KNS...
But at least, JL had bought two VCDs to watch...

The first movie was some Thailand "Horror" movie...
But it was soooooo boring an so Un-Horrifying that I was nearly falling asleep halfway through it...

This is Not me by the way...

We end up fast-forwarding it...

The second movie was rather good, The Tale of the Two Sisters... (Or something like that)
The suspense was great... The story was not bad...
It had me guessing and thinking for a while, trying to spot and remember the little details in the movie because YL had said that there was a twist to it...
The Horror element was there too, so me YL and TL was screaming our heads off at some moments...
Quite exciting heeheehee... But poor Seb who was in between us, damaging his eardrums in the process...

Wah??? I can't hear youuuuuu...

Day 3
The Last day...
Was always the Saddest day...

Even though we were confined to the indoors most of the time, do nothing except nua-ing, and having my ears blasted with 130 dB noise, I have to say this...

I still enjoyed our Chalet very much...

Because it is the Company that Matters...

After the chalet, half of us have something on, so there was no after-chalet-bonding-sessions...
Only left me YL YT and Kang...
So we went off to find our own entertainment!!!

K-Boxing!!!

Super High wor!!!

Especially in the beginning, we were singing or screaming (for me lar) and dancing to the music...
YL also suddenly went crazy and started jumping on the sofa...

Imagine this scenerio:
In a darkened room, with loud fast music playing in the background...
A group of young people were dancing and singing to the music...
All of them were very high in spirits and were standing up and jumping...

Kang, me, YL and YT...
YL jumped onto the sofa and moved her arms and legs around in some motion which I presumed was dancing...

All of a sudden...

The door creaks opened...

A solitude head appears...

With reflexes almost as quick as the lighting, Kang me and YT immediately dropped back into our seats, in that particular order...

Leaving the sole figure still standing on the sofa...



Major Laughing Session after the whole stunned silence was over...
K-box staffs always have this habit of popping in at the wrong moments...

All in all, a good but tiring day!!! =-D



p/s: I highly recommend WeeH's and YL's back for sleeping...
Those are superb mattresses I say...
