Design Presentation
The Presentation...
The first ever formal presentation I had...
(Other then HR, but then that one still not so formal wor...)
I have to even borrow a formal shirt from YL, and wear my touch-once-a-year pair of heels...
(Thanks YL!!! =-D)
I have never wore such a formal shirt before...
Or if I have, it must have been so damn long ago, or very very rare...
Such that I have no memory of it...
But suay suay today is a super hot day...
I was sweating like hell even before I reached the bus-stop...
And the bloody bus, as usual, make me wait for so long, that the traveling time was shorter...
Our group presentation is the last of all last presentations...
Meaning that our group is the Last group to present on the Last day of presentation...
Wah liao...
Anyway the !@$%#@^!#$ thing happened, just 30 minutes before our presentation...
We have received an email a few days back from our Prof, stating the change of venue...
The new venue was E1A-06-22...
Ya, so there is where we went...
However we were a little bit puzzled...
Because one of our group members have mentioned seeing the other group presenting in a tutorial room, in another building...
Aren't we supposed to do it all at the same location??
And the new place was highly suspicious too...
There was a meeting inside, and no signs of any familiar people...
(i.e: Our Prof, other group presenting, or the company personnel...)
In fact, we were so confused, we made several calls to other people, including an office call to our Prof (which he never picked up), before sending two of us down to the other venue to check things out...
And guess what?!?!
The correct venue was at EA!!!
WHAT THE!!!
Hey Prof?!?! Aren't you supposed to update us on any changes?!??!?!
Why send us the wrong information then later never clarify???
ROAR!!!
If we didn't double check, we would most probably be late for our presentation!!!
Pass information can also pass wrong ones...
Email take so long to reply...
Every time come to meeting 10 minutes late and leaves 30 minutes earlier...
Use eye-power only or at most talk a few redundant things...
A lot of things regarding the project also dunno...
Basically, not very useful...
And to think he actually strolled quite happily to the correct venue and asked us "How's it going??"...
(-_____-;)
Very tempted to
And I can see that the rest of my group members are also itching to do the same thing...
(Can see it in their eyes and body language... Heh heh...)
But I think that he was also one of the people grading us, so decided not to say anything...
So anyway, another group was still presenting before us...
Quite a nice group, they chat and reassure us a bit and even wished our group good luck before they leave...
The presentation went rather smoothly...
No major hiccups except the computer jammed for quite some time at one point, and poor Ben have to endure the awkward silence...
I was very nervous the day before and especially a few hours before the presentation...
But thankfully I managed to pull it off...
I did not stammer too much, my voice was loud enough, neither do I need to read the notes I had in my hand...
Yeah!!!
Must be due to the frustration built up earlier which counter the effects of my nervous system...
(Haha, "nervous" system, get it get it?? Oh never mind...)
And the Q & A wasn't so hard, although a couple of questions did caught us off guard...
But overall, I'll say our presentation was not bad...
YEAH!!! IT IS FINALLY OVER!!!
WOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
But sigh... We didn't have a group photo...
