Swimming!!!!!

It was a bright and sunny day!!!
Me and YZ decided to go swimming!!!

Go where?
Hmmm... Bukit Batok's is too boring...
Chua Chu Kang's is closed on that day...
Sooooo...
Jurong East be it!!!

Yea swimming!!!
I loved swimming...
It's one of my favourite sport...
Other then sleeping, daydreaming, eating, drawing...
(I consider those as sports becos you have to exert a lot of mental and physical strength when doing so... Ever heard of insomnia, uncreativity, coma, untalented??)

Swimming: you can exercise and yet feel cooled by the water at the same time...
No sticky sweat!!!
And if you are tired, just float around!!!
Can see/laugh/drool/criticised at people...
Cos all they have is a piece of elastic cloth over their body, you can see their body, flaws and all...
No wonder many of my friends very scared to go swimming...
Easy lar, just hide under the water all the time...
Or take a huge float with you to shield your body from unwanted attention...
You know, the kind which goes round your waist, so that nobody can guess how thick it is...
Teeheehee...

Ok enough...
It was a Monday holiday, 2/5/05...
Cos Sunday was Labour day, thus people feel bu shuang that the holiday landed on a day where they don't have to work, therefore the following Monday becomes the holiday!!!

I tell you, YZ can be a fortune teller when he grows up...
Ok, he has grown enough, so it will be: when he finish school...
Cos he predicted that it will be damn crowded on Monday...
And Voila!!!
His prediction came true!!!
At around 1pm, one and a half hours before opening time, there were many people queuing aready...
So we thought, "aiyah, very hot here, don't want to line up, go somewhere cooler..."
Then at 2.20pm, when we decided to started queuing...
(0_0;)
(>~<;)
(@_@;)/
*eyes opens big*
*close eyes again*
*open eyes very very very big*-----> very hard for me leh, cos my eyes very small in the first place...

WOAH!!!
I thought National Day Parade was being pushed ahead schedule...
It was .....
( Can't find any words to describe at this moment... )
Just think: NDP, Sardines pack in a can, Bomb shelter during war...
You get the idea...

So me and YZ waited for the crowds to disperse...
We waited for 30 minutes, no change in size of the crowd...
So we head to the back of the queue, with the intentions of queuing, only to find that we could not see the end of it...
So, heck care, we CUT...
Yes OMG, we CUT!!!
Don't scold me, I feel very bad aready...

When we finally made it in, after much pushing and more cutting, it was quite crowded...
This means a lot, cos we were quite in front of the entire queue...
Lesson Learnt: Never go swimming during public holidays...

But anyway, we had fun!!!
The wave pool was fantastic, the lazy pool was nice, the slides were exciting, the pool was inviting...
Well, if you minus away the gigantic floats that keep knocking our heads, or the feet hanging from those gigantic floats which keep finding their way into our face, or that we keep smashing/stepping/elbowing into people...

Really, they should ban those stupid floats...
I mean they are potential hazards!!!
Just imagine a 100kg man sitting on it...
It could explode, and thus seriously injuring the people nearby...
Not to mention the tramatising effect it would have on little kids...
And why must it be so freaking big!!!
It could suffocated unfortunate swimmers who happen to get smash by those floats in the face...
It nearly happened to me you know!!!
I was in the wave pool jumping up and down with the wave, when to my horror, I saw FOUR GIGANTIC FLOATS speeding towards me...
And Splak!!! I got caught in the middle...
And no matter how I turned my head, all I saw was Floats and Floats and More Floats!!!
AAAAAHHHHH!!!
Luckily, my dear YZ came to my rescue and with his qigong, separated the waters and blasted the horrible floats away to the lazy pool...
Oh my knight in shining armour...

If you really did believe the 2nd last sentence in the above paragraph, I say " Stupid lar you, YZ where got qigong, I got wings you know, I can fly out of the danger!!!"

(-___-;)

So anyway, after all that, we had to rush home cos YZ had to book in...
:'(

At the bus-stop, guess who do I see...
My ex-art-club-member-cum-schoolmate NWS!!!
Well actually I didn't see him lar, he change his hairstyle, so how do I know...
But he was standing behind YZ waiting to see when I would spot him...
Oi I have no eyes on the back of my head...
Kidding lar, actually I was facing YZ, thus facing him, yet I did not see him...
Need new specs...
But I finally saw him on the bus!!!
And he was also swimming in jurong east earlier...
But I did not see him cos everyone looked the same to me...
Messy hair, ob-biang swiming trunks, frog-looking goggles...
All of us alighted at the same stop cos WS and YZ lived in the same block...
Long time no see, no chat, no laugh with him liao...
Really missed the good old days...
And he went into poly!!!
Wow, great for him!!! Cos he used to be in ITE...
Goes to show that with hard work, anything is possible...

Have a Great Week ahead!!!
