Helen the Baby Fox...

Just watched this show on cable a while ago...
One of the most touching movies I've watched...

Helen the Baby Fox

A little boy named Taichi got left under the care of his mother's boyfriend, a vet, while his mom went overseas to work...
One day Taichi found a baby fox by the road side and befriends it...
He realises that it is without a mother and took it in as a pet...
Unfortunately, the baby fox was diagnosed blind, deaf and mute by the vet, who tried to tell Taichi that the easiest way to end the baby fox suffering was to kill it...

But Taichi refuses to give up, he pins his hopes on having the baby fox being operated on to cure it...
Thus he fed and took care of the baby fox, who was being named after Helen Keller (another blind, deaf and mute person in history), in order to make it grow bigger and stronger for the operation...
Taichi was now the "mother" to Helen, trying his best to feed it milk and meat...
Although it was tough, Taichi did not once give up on Helen and was very determined to cure it...


However, when Helen was later taken to a University by the vet's ex-professer, it was found that even the operation could not cure Helen as well...
Taichi was devastated but he was determined to get Helen back because he knows what was best for her and wanted to make her happy...
So very cleverly, he hitchhike his way to the university and managed to track where the professor was...
A struggle occured as Taichi was unable to handle his emotions well, but in the midst, they suddenly heard a cry...
It was Helen crying out for its mother (Taichi)!!!

It was something of a miracle, for it was diagnosed that Helen could not make a sound, and yet it did cry out for Taichi...
Taichi was finally reunited with Helen, and he spent his days with Helen, giving it happiness...
But it was discovered that, while Helen was in the university, the professor had did a brain scan on it and found out that Helen had suffered a brain trama and such, which was why it was unable to see, hear or make a sound...
This brain trama causes Helen to suffer from seizures from time to time, and it gets worse as the show goes on...
The vet predicted that Helen may not live very long after one very serious seizure, but he tells Taichi not to give up on Helen...

Taichi (crying): But Helen has been trying so hard... *sob sob*

Vet: Helen tries very hard because of you, because you don't give up on her...


So Taichi made up his mind...
He was determined to let Helen enjoy Summer (it was nearing Winter then) and took Helen with him to a hill where flowers still grows...
He gathers a bunch of flowers and surrounds Helen in them, letting it feel the flowers...
They enjoy each other company for a while before Helen becomes too weak and fell to the ground...

It was a heart-stopping moment...
Helen just landed on the ground suddenly, with an ominous thud...
Taichi knew it in his heart what had happened at that very instant...

Very quietly, he gather Helen in his arms and hug it close...
He wipes away the tears in Helens eyes while his flows like water...
Never once did he made a sound...

A very touching movie...
Doesn't hurts that the movie two main characters, Taichi and Helen, are simply too adorable!!!
