Art Club Gathering

It has been...

THREE years
since I last saw my art club members, with the exception of HY and SH, who I bo pian have to see, cos same year mah... Means either same group of friends or same university...

Anyway, it was really sudden to have an art club gathering, which is my CCA back in my Swiss Cottage days...
Afterall, nearly THREE years leh, not three months, so why suddenly pop up one gathering??

I have a theory on this...
Which is that :
SH and NWS are really itching to see each other, but they scared their scandal got exposed, so they decided to get a smokescreen for it i.e. art club gathering, cos that is the only thing they have in common...

Heeheehee...
Well, that is my theory la, whether or not it is true has yet to be comfirmed since I have not done any tests to prove it...
But it is a fact that it is these two who first thought up of an art club gathering...
Ahem, couple up with a dose of hearty imagination... And you get the idea...

*I can imagine an uproar with SH vehemently denying everything while NWS nods docilely in agreement*

Juz Kidding la... Don't beat me up...

So the day of the Art Club Gathering begins on 26th of December...
I woke up, bright and early...
At 10+am...
Well, 10+am is consider as early for me, since nowadays I usually lay till 11+am before I rolled off the bed... Sometimes hitting 12pm even...
But even waking up so 'early', I was late for the meeting time at 12.30pm...
(Where got people meet so early one?!? *yawn*)
Haha, still, I wasn't the last to arrived...
JieC and JieS (they are brothers) both came later, and HY arrived at 1.30pm leh!!! WOW!!!
So only SH and NWS *sniggers* oh ya and QJ came before me...

So in all...
Only me HY SH NWS JieC JieS QJ came... (YY came much later...)
Wah art club got so few people one meh??
Geez, I nearly forgot that art club has always been struggling with its membership...
Due to its lack of members...

So when all of us came, we trodded of to Marina Centre in search of food...
And came upon Carls Junior!!!
OMG
One look at their burgers is enough to make you full...
Its GIGANTIC...
Twice the size of a normal hamburger... (You should see their fries and drinks... I didn't know food came in XL sizes...)
And hence twice the amount of price...
Bloody ex...
But yummy all the same...

And then, we just sat there for the entire afternoon, eating chatting, eating and chatting even more...
When running out things to say, we try asking each other questions, going first with NWS and last with QJ...
The questions we asked were mostly related to BGR stuff, although there wasn't much they could asked or ribbed me...
Cos I'm attached, simple as that, no scandal, no gossip, no dirt, no skeletons in my closet, no nothing... Muwhahahahahahahaha...

Poor SH and NWS got teased the most, mostly because of stuff that happened in Ancient History...

Hahaha, anyway, here's a brief intro to my art club members...

SH : Secretary, (2001), President (2002)
NWS : Vice-President (2002)
Me : Designer (2001-2002)
HY : Discipline Mistress (2001), Treasurer (2002)
YY : Secretary (2002), President (2003)
QJ : Errrm... I think should be Co-Designer, sorry I forgot... (2003)
JieC : President (2001)
JieS : President (2004)

Okie, some of the information may be lacking due to my STML (short-term-memory-loss) but that's about all I could remember...
A lot of Presidents hor??
Well, cos it is usually the commitee members that are close to each other...
I remember we (commitee members) used to stayed back after CCA to chit chat and crap...
Basically just hang out...
Especially my year, all are present for this gathering!!!
See?!?! So ON!!!
(Errrmm... Minus the 'mentally-challenge' T, cos he seldoms came to attend the CCA itself, let alone participate...)

E.g: HY, who became prettier and slimmer... ^_^

Later, NWS and JieS had to leave, while YY joined us...
So for the rest of the day we girls, and poor JieC went shopping!!! Hohoho...
Lucky for him, we lack $$ (to shop) so we decided to settle down at McCafe...
Over there, we carry on our dicussion on BGR issues... (hey we are young, our ages range from 17 to 20)
Mostly its our Grandsenior JieC who gave us lotsa advices and examples etc...
Grandsenior, sounds very old right?? That is because he looks and talks like one... Heeheehee...

Basically, the gist on How To Have A Nice And Lasting Relationship can be summarised in the following :
Remember TCCR!!!

T is for Trust...
C is for Communication...
C is for Compromise...
R is for Respect...

You need to trust your other half, jealousy can do disasters on any normal relationship... Stop questioning every move your partner makes, unless it is highly suspicious... Even a very tolerant and patient person have their limits...

There must be ample Two-Way communication, not just yakking from one side... And the communication must be fruitful, none of these "how was your day" "fine, thank you" stuff... I can even talk to my fish like that too...

You cannot be selfish in a realtionship, neither can you be very stubborn, thoughtless, or demanding your other half to suit to your every need...

Respect your other half's opinion, privacy and space... They have their own life, you do not govern it...

There... The Four Golden Rules you must follow...
Well, for now, until I can find some more to add it in...

Well... That is my gathering with my ex-art club members...
I had fun!!!
Hopefully we can have more of such gatherings in "Near Future"!!! (ahem, private joke...)
