Christmas Countdown...
I spent my Christmas Eve with my little squirrel...
Yea, I know a bit blurry... My little squirrel hands is not very stable you know, little animals can't carry so heavy things... ^_^
But than, this year Christmas Decorations is a bit too Red...
Just look!!! The ratio of red is to the rest of the colours!!! And the Yellow!!!
So Chinese New Year!!!
Ahh... This is so much better... A bit more blue and purple!!!
This is also very nice!!! No overdose of Red!!!
EEEeeerraaaakkkk!!! Aliens!!! UFOs!!! They have come to suck our energy!!! Look at how the colourful lights go whooooosh up!!!
Ahem... Anyway, the day started off pretty gloomy, with dark overhanging clouds refusing to go away...
Me go get my haircut that day!!!
Yippeeeeee!!! No more irritating hair in eyes/mouth/everywhere!!! I should go for a trim more often...
My mom invite little squirrel to my house to meet my granny (cos my granny wanna see him) since my relatives are coming over to celebrate together...
But alas, I can't stay at home cos I already promise little squirrel... But at least I dragged him down to my house, though he was very very very very very reluctant... -_-;
Aiyo, see my granny also scared until like that... Got nice food to eat you also don't want??
(Actually. it's me who wanted to eat... Muwhahahaha cos my first aunt bought yummy Dian Xin just for me!!!)
Anyway, the rain started just as we were getting ready to leave... So we were stuck for some time...
But luckily, it eased up a little, so we were able to leave, much to little squirrel's relief...
We went to orchard, hoping to catch some lights... (was disappointed, it sucks...)
But along the way, we saw something spectacular!!!

Beautiful... Breathe-taking... Yea yea, and you can also see the glare of the yellow light shining on it, and maybe some reflections of the christmas lights in the background too...
We came a bit too late, so the lights of each pictures got switched on...
And if you looked a little more closely, you can see little bits of yellow speckled all over it...
No, they don't belong to the picture, they are not little flies flying around, neither are they dirt on the lense of the camera...
They are leaves, simple as that, cos it was raining before... -_-;
I think there's hundreds of photos over there in Orchard, near Hilton...
And I want a piece of them!!!

After the photo-taking session, we walk around buying little snacks and drinks as our dinner (cos we... I mean I ate alot at my house) before heading to Esplanade...
Cos Orchard is getting ridiculously crowded...
The traffic jams on the road looks like a walk in the park compared to the human jam on the pavement...
Goodness me, sometimes I wonder whether the casual brush on my butt or breast is intentional or just an accident...
Grrrrrrrrrr...
At Esplanade, it is very crowded as well...
The entire building is swarming with people...
Me and little squirrel headed for a less crowded place to enjoy our dinner...
It was a very nice feeling, sitting down there, watching the skies (no stars though), chatting, cuddling together...

At around 11.30+pm, we walked back towards the main area to enjoy the atmosphere...
There are many people spraying those foamy and strings stuff everywhere...
Kinda fun to watch people spraying each other... ^_^
There's so much laughter and screams everywhere!!!
But then, there wasn't an official countdown to Christmas...
Thus many people, especially those that came in groups shouted out informal countdowns...
Quite funny cos they are all shouting at different times, one following another...
Group #1: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Merry Christmas!!! Yeaaaaaa *sprays* *screams* *laughter*
A few seconds later...
Group #2: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Merry Christmas!!! Yeaaaaaa *sprays* *screams* *laughter*
A few seconds later...
Group #3: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Merry Christmas!!! Yeaaaaaa *sprays* *screams* *laughter*
Repeat the above for group #4, #5 and the many groups after...
When the whole 'thing' (spraying, laughing, screaming, talking) was over, Esplanade was quite deserted by 12.30am...
-_-; I was hoping for more action...
Aiyo...
Maybe next year Christmas can be more exciting...
